Mumbai, Sep 11: Marvel Studios has opened bookings for Avengers: Endgame – Encore, ahead of its theatrical re-release in India on September 25. The film will return to cinemas in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu and will be screened across IMAX and several other premium formats.
The special theatrical presentation will also feature an exclusive preview of Avengers: Doomsday, the upcoming Marvel Studios film scheduled to release in cinemas on December 18, 2026. The preview will offer fans an early glimpse of the next chapter in the Avengers franchise while they revisit Avengers: Endgame on the big screen.
Avengers: Endgame – Encore will be presented in IMAX, Marvel Studios Presented in Infinity Vision and other premium formats, including 4DX, MX4D, SCREENX, Dolby Vision, HDR Barco and ICE.
Infinity Vision-certified screens are designed to provide a larger-screen experience with brighter visuals and enhanced sound, offering audiences another premium way to experience the film.
The re-release comes as Marvel fans prepare to revisit one of the biggest cinematic events in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Avengers: Endgame, directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, brought together several of the franchise's major characters for their final battle against Thanos and remains one of the most significant films in the MCU.
The film was produced by Kevin Feige, with Louis D'Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Michael Grillo, Trinh Tran, Jon Favreau, James Gunn and Stan Lee credited as executive producers.
Set after the devastating events that resulted in half of the universe's population disappearing, Avengers: Endgame follows the surviving Avengers as they struggle to cope with the loss and search for a way to reverse the catastrophe. The team eventually reunites to confront Thanos in a final battle.
Avengers: Endgame – Encore will release in Indian cinemas on September 25, 2026, in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The re-release will give fans an opportunity to return to the Infinity Saga on the big screen while also offering an exclusive look at Avengers: Doomsday, which is scheduled to hit theatres on December 18, 2026.
