Vasco, Sep 19: Vasco police have registered an FIR against a dog owner for allegedly leaving her dog unattended outside her premises, where it attacked and bit a woman, causing injuries.
The complaint was filed by Rhea Victoria D’Souza, a resident of Pixem Dongri, Vasco.
According to the complaint, the incident occurred on September 17 at around 4.30 pm. D’Souza alleged that the accused, Milagres D’Silva, knowing that her dog was aggressive, left it unattended outside her premises.

The dog allegedly ran towards D’Souza while she was walking along the road, jumped on her and bit her, resulting in injuries.
Vasco police have registered an offence against D’Silva under Sections 291 and 125(a) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
PSI Akanksh Fadte Dessai is investigating the case.
