Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone welcome second baby girl

Mumbai, Sep 19: Bollywood couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have welcomed their second child, a baby girl, on September 19, 2026.

The couple took to their official Instagram accounts and shared a joint post featuring a tiny footprint along with the words, “Welcome baby girl... 19/9/2026... Dua, Deepika, Ranveer.”

They accompanied the post with an evil eye emoji.

Congratulatory messages soon poured in from fans and members of the film industry.

Actress Kriti Sanon wrote, “Awww!! congratulations you guys!!! Dua has a baby sister!!! Such a blessing!”

Singer Shreya Ghoshal commented, “Congratulations,” followed by red heart emojis, while actress Kriti Kharbanda also extended her wishes.

Designer Masaba Gupta wrote, “Two girls! What more does one ask for.”

Several other members of the film industry also congratulated the couple in the comments section.

Earlier this month, Ranveer and Deepika had shared adorable family pictures featuring their daughter Dua, who is now a big sister.

The couple had captioned the post, “Baby Dua and our hearts are getting bigger! Thank you for your blessings!” along with evil eye and folded-hands emojis.

Deepika and Ranveer announced in April this year that they were expecting their second child. The couple shared a joint post featuring Dua holding a pregnancy test kit showing a positive result.

The couple tied the knot in an intimate yet lavish ceremony at Lake Como in Italy in November 2018 after keeping their relationship private for several years.

They welcomed their first child, daughter Dua, on September 8, 2024.
