Goa to receive first charter flight for new tourist season on September 30

Panaji, Sep 20: The first charter flight of Goa’s upcoming international tourism season is expected to arrive in the coastal state on September 30, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said on Saturday.

“Goa is gearing up for an encouraging start to the international tourism season, with the first charter flight expected as early as 30th September,” Sawant said in a post on X.

He said the state was looking forward to welcoming visitors from across the world and to a vibrant tourism season that would benefit the hospitality sector, local businesses and communities across Goa.

The official tourist season in Goa begins in October and continues until May.
