Udupi: Kallianpur Rotary Club Felicitates Farmer Richard Rebello

Udupi, Mar 31: Under the aegis of Rotary Club, Kallianpur, a live demonstration of ‘Kambala’, the Tulunadu buffalo race, and an information workshop was held at Crown Garden, Aroor, near Brahmavar, on Thursday March 29.

Kallianpur Rotary Club president Ravi R Acharya felicitated Richard Rebello, a progressive farmer and rain water conservation expert residing at Heroor, near Kundapur, in the presence of Rotary district assistant governor Devanand on the occasion.

Dr Roshan Shetty was the chief guest on the occasion. Progressive farmer Sudhir Lewis was the resource person.

Kallianpur Rotary Club senior members Subbanna Pai, Felcy Lewis Tonse, Joel Lewis Canada, Soloman Lewis, Vijay Mayady Uppoor, Prakash Kumar Santekatte, Rama Poojary, Giridar Baliga Kallianpur, Peter Cornelio Puttur Ambagilu, Anand Shetty Laxminagar, Mohammed Iqbal Santekatte, Vittal Naik, Ramakrishna, and Sadanand Nayak were present on the occasion.
