Mumbai, Sep 30: Former Karnataka Cabinet minister Dr K C Narayana Gowda and a delegation met Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis at the Mumbai Mantralaya, the official secretariat of the Maharashtra state government, on Tuesday.
The delegation discussed providing a site for the Maharashtra Vokkaligara Sangha Bhavan and submitted a request seeking a suitable site associated with CIDCO in Navi Mumbai to facilitate the service activities of the Vokkaliga community in the region.
Responding to the request, chief minister Devendra Fadnavis assured the delegation that necessary steps would be taken soon to provide a suitable site to the Sangha in Navi Mumbai.
On the occasion, former president of the Vokkaligara Sangha Maharashtra Jitendra Gowda, incumbent honorary general secretary Gangadhara N Gowda, and BJP leader Mohan Gowda were present.
