Chandigarh, Oct 2: The Border Security Force (BSF) foiled an infiltration attempt along the India-Pakistan border in Punjab's Tarn Taran sector early Friday, killing two suspected infiltrators.
According to the BSF, at around 12.30 am, at least three individuals were spotted moving towards the Indian border from the Chattanwale area on the Pakistani side in the BOP Rajoke area. The BSF personnel challenged the individuals and issued warnings, but they continued to advance.

The security forces subsequently opened fire, killing two of the suspected infiltrators. The third individual reportedly fled back towards Pakistan during the exchange of fire.
The incident has prompted heightened vigilance along the border, with security agencies monitoring the area closely. The identities of those killed and their possible motive for attempting to cross into India have not been disclosed.
The BSF maintains a constant vigil along the India-Pakistan International Border in Punjab to prevent infiltration and other cross-border activities.
