Mumbai, Oct 24: The Mumbai Police Crime Branch has seized two firearms and 10 live cartridges from Surat in Gujarat in connection with the firing incident targeting Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff, officials said on Saturday.
Investigators suspect that the weapons may have been used in the attack outside the actor's residence in Mumbai's Juhu area on October 18. The recovery was made during the investigation registered as DCB CID CR No. 143/26 under Sections 109(1) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023, and Sections 3 and 25 of the Arms Act.
According to police, the attackers fired around seven rounds during the incident near Pushpa Park in Juhu. Five bullets hit the BMW in which Shroff was travelling, while two missed their target. The firing reportedly left the actor's driver and another person nearby injured.

The accused allegedly fled on a motorcycle, which was later seized near Andheri railway station. Three suspects were subsequently arrested at Kota railway station in Rajasthan on October 19 as the investigation gathered pace.
The accused have been identified as a 17-year-old minor, 22-year-old Hrithik Kumar alias Roshan, originally from Begusarai in Bihar, and 18-year-old Rehan from Sonipat in Haryana.
Investigators suspect that the attackers conducted detailed reconnaissance before carrying out the shooting, including tracking the actor's movements and weekly routine. Police believe the accused followed a pre-planned escape route along SV Road through Vile Parle and Andheri.
Apart from the three alleged attackers, several other individuals have also been apprehended in connection with the case from Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Haryana as investigators attempt to establish the wider network behind the incident.
The role of gangster Anil Pandit has also come under scrutiny. Mumbai Police have named him as a wanted accused after he allegedly claimed responsibility for targeting the actor on October 18. Pandit is suspected of being associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
The investigation is continuing under provisions of the BNS and the Arms Act, including those relating to attempt to murder and illegal possession or use of firearms. Police are examining the recovered weapons and pursuing further leads to establish the roles of those involved.
