Bantwal: 50 Artistes Enact ‘Passion of Jesus Christ’ at Fermai Parish

Bantwal, Apr 4: ‘Passion of Jesus Christ’ was enacted by 50 artistes ranging in age from 4 years to 75 years at St Antony’s parish, Fermai, near here, on Palm Sunday April 1.

Permai parish council former vice-president Francis Coutinho, Anil D’Souza, John Prakash Pinto, and director Sylvester Lobo led the ‘Stations of Cross’.

Youth artiste Thomas D’Souza enacted the role of Jesus Christ on the occasion.

A large number of parishioners and faithful from neighbouring parishes were present during the staging.

    This is wonderful play.. very rare we get to see this.. Congratulations to all the artists. Very Natural and great act by Thomas one who enacted the role of Jesus Christ. I missed this live play. Proud to be a fermai parishner!!! Great Job Guys..
