Kasargod: Youth Injured After Jumping Out of Moving Police Jeep

Kasargod, Apr 5: A youth was injured when he jumped out of a moving police jeep in a bid to escape on Wednesday April 4 at 2.30 pm.



The injured has been identified as 23-year-old Shailesh, a resident of Kiyoor Kadappura Colony, near here.  He was admitted at the city general hospital.

The policemen led by town circle sub inspector Babu Perinjayat were patrolling in the city when they found a group of 12 men.  When the police tried to question them, the group tried to flee.  However, the police managed to arrest Shailesh who was one among the group.  Shailesh was being taken in a police jeep when he jumped to escape and was injured in the process.
