Kundapur, Apr 6: Ninety-three-year-old Prabhakar Tolar, veteran entrepreneur and resident of Maddugudde, passed away due to a brief illness on Thursday April 5.
He was the proprietor of Prabhakar Tile Works and founder of Hotel Sharon, here. He was a sportsman, member of Bhandarkar's College government council, UBMC School managing committee, and Rotary Nursery School.
Tolar was a philanthropist and offered employment to thousands of deserving people. He is survived by his wife Dorothy Tolar, president of Mahila Samaj, two sons and two daughters.
The funeral will be held on Friday April 6 at 4.00 pm in CSI cemetery, Shastri Circle.
