Udupi: Sand Heart Artists Create Awareness, Mark Good Friday in Unique Way

Udupi, Apr 6: As is their hobby and practice, the trio of sand artists of Manipal Sand Heart on Friday April 6 marked the World Health Day and Good Friday together with one huge sand sculpture.

The sand scuplture, created at Malpe beach, attracted a large number of curious onlookers and admirers the entire day.

Artists Srinath Manipal, Venki Palimar and Ravi Hirebettu worked on the sculpture from around 8.30 am till almost 3 pm.

The team is known to come up with creative sand sculptures on special days, always with an aim to spread awareness on important issues.

This time, the message was to 'heal the world' and that 'health is wealth'. Name of the sponsor Radha Medicals was also etched.
