Mangalore: 'Hrudaya Bhagya' Free Cardiac Check-up Camp for Children at A J Hospital

Mangalore, Apr 11: 'Hrudaya Bhagya', a free check-up camp for children with cardiac problems will be held in the Out-Patient Department of A J Hospital & Research Centre from April 16 to May 15.  The camp participants will be offered free consultation and ECHO. If the child
requires further treatment, the same will be done at a concessional rate.

Children with the following problems can avail the camp benefits:
• Children known to have heart disease
• Becoming blue on crying
• She / he has recurrent respiratory infections
• Has breathing difficulty while playing

Children studying in government and aided schools in Karnataka can avail treatment under 'Suvarna Arogya Chaitanya Scheme'.

A J Hospital & Research Centre has completed 10 years of its fruitful service to the society and has conducted several free check-up camps in the hospital and in other places of Karnataka and Kerala in association with Rotary Clubs and various other NGOs with a motive of reaching
the best of healthcare to the poor and needy. Thousands of people from all over India have benefitted from these camps.

In the year 2003, A J Hospital & Research Centre had initiated 'Hrudaya Bhagya'- free cardiac check-up camp in association with Rotary Club Mangalore East. This camp was a big success and thousands of people were treated under Hrudaya Bhagya. A similar camp for children has been organized in association with Rotary Club Mangalore East and Corporation Bank, with a view to cater to a large number of children suffering from cardiac ailments and to create awareness among the parents about cardiac disease.
