Mangalore: Foreign Visitors Flock to Pilikula Heritage Village and Artisan Village

Mangalore, Apr 14: Foreign tourists are fascinated about the rich heritage and artisan environment of Pilikula Nisargadhama. A group of foreign tourists had visited Pilikula Nisargadhama on Thursday April 12.

The groups, consisting of more than 325 members from Arab Countries, USA, Canada, Mexico and Africa, had hands on experience of different crafts at Artisan Village of Pilikula Nisargadhama.

The tourists had appreciated the works done by Pilikula Nisargadhama to conserve the rich heritage and culture of this region. The entire group of visitors had discussions with the workers at artisan village with the help of the guides and also had a good interactive session with the officials and staff of Pilikula Nisargadhama.

Administrative officer Bhaskar, Artisan Village project officer Parameshwar Adiga, IPPO Vivek Nambiar, scientific officer Ramakrishna Marate and other officials of Pilikula Nisargadhama extended full cooperation and support for their visit.
