Kasargod, Apr 17: Kerala agriculture and district-in-charge minister K P Mohanan felicitated Nadoja Dr Kayyara Kinhanna Rai at the latter’s house ‘Kavita Kutir’, Kayyar, on Monday April 16.

Speaking on the occasion, Mohanan offered assurances of honest efforts in getting a special honour for Rai from state administration, as he is a veteran litterateur of 7 languages, emphasized minister Mohanan.

Badiyadka gram panchayat president Sudha Jayaram presided over the programme.

District commissioner V N Jitendran, agriculture department joint director Shivaprasad, A V Ramakrishnan, P Karunakar, Siddiq Ali Mogral, Balakrishna Shetty Belinje, Mahin Kelot, and M H Janardhan were present on the occasion.

Minister K P Mohanan visited Rai en route to Badiyadka to attend some public meetings.  He handed over the keys of two houses that were donated by Sairam Gopalakrishna Bhat of Kilingaru who has so far donated 196 houses to the poor.
