Mangalore, Apr 17:
We have heard of efforts to save tigers, save water and so on. The students of St Joseph Engineering College have pledged to save life.

For the first time in the city, students of St Joseph Engineering College in coordination with Bangalore Prolife are conducting a Prolife exhibition named 'Celebrate Life' from Sunday April 15 to Thursday April 19.

Prolife is a personal choice made by an individual in favour of life. It is against all forms that harm life. The exhibition was inaugurated on April 15 by Fr Valerian D’Souza, director and Fr Henry Mascarenhas, assistant director of the SJEC.

The exhibition is going on in full swing and is surely touching lives. It emphasizes on the need to value one's life as well as the lives of others. It contains various stalls starting from the 'Stages of Life' which explains the start of life of a baby right from conception.

It is followed by the ‘Anti-life Stall’ which explains topics like suicide, porn addiction, surrogate mother, mercy killing, infanticide, etc.

The next stall is the ‘Culture of Death’ which explains various addictions like smoking, drinking and drugs which gradually take away the life of a person.

This is followed by the ‘Population Explosion Stall’ which describes the various myths people believe in.

The ‘Abortion Stall’ is next which displays the various methods of abortion. A heart touching video on abortion is shown in this stall. Real foetuses are also on display here.

The last stall is the ‘Meditation Stall’ which has pictures of babies saved by the Bangalore Prolife team. Inspirational videos on life are played in this stall.

The exhibition is open from 1 pm to 6 pm till Thursday.

We not only need doctors, engineers and managers, we need people who will stand up for life.

Extremely praiseworthy on the part of St. Joseph's Engineering College to come up with the Exhibition focusing on "Pro-Life" movement in India. Every kind of display on the reality of life in India will prove to be beneficial not only to the students but also the adults so as to enable them to appreciate their individual contribution towards life.

In a country such as India where population is adding by the hour, people need envery kind of message on "Meditation", the "Culture of death", "Abortion", "Anti-life", and particularly on "Population Explosion".

Each and every display at the Exhibition should prove to be an educational tool for every person, young or old, so that each one can digest the message on the value of life and contribute accordingly for the success of life in India.

Each and every Stall at the Exhibition should equate to one single-most principle that will help people of India to respect the value of life by "population control" so that each and every life can be nurtured and preserved with the basic daily necessities in this "small world - a beautiful world".
