Dance India Dance - Mangalore Girl Jnana Aithal All Set to Conquer Hearts

Mangalore, Apr 28: Dance India Dance, Little Masters which is going to take off on Zee TV from Saturday, April 28 at 9 pm has a promising contestant from Karnataka who has determined to make all Kannadigas proud. She is Jnana Aithal who in the past has mesmerised the audience through her dancing magic wherever she has set her feet.
A budding danseuse Jnana, aged eleven, loving child of Chitra and Nagendra Aithal has been selected among 125,000 contestants to become one of the sixteen finalists who are going to set the stage on fire, Saturday and Sunday, every week.
An outright and aggressive winner since her childhood, Jnana Aithal has already earned a name for herself by winning the Zee TV Kannada Dance competition ‘Kuniyona Bhara’. Although dancing is in her blood her talents go beyond dancing and surpass other forms of arts as she has won laurels in all the major creative segments such as creative writing competitions, quiz, elocution and so on which proves that she is a gifted child who has sustained her winning spirit through hard work and rigorous training. The number of awards that she has won is testimony to her credentials.
Jnana, a student of Canara High School in Mangalore is the winner in the national-level dance competition held in Mysore in 2011 and bagged Natya Mandara award. Prior to that, she has won the first place in the Bala Pratibha Bharatanatyam competition conducted by the state Kannada and culture department in Dharwad. In addition, she has also been selected for the Kalashri award given by the department of child welfare from Mangalore.
Vishwa Kala Ratna Award, Puttanna Kanagal Award, Udhbhava Bhushana Award, Rajyotsava Prathibha Puraskara Award, Kannada Keerthishree Award, state Kalashree Award, Bala Prathibha Award are some of the recognitions which have greet her on her illustrious career so far as she loves accepting challenges in every field with open arms.
Jnana has been trained in Bharatanatyam by Vidyashri Radhakrishna of Gana Nritya Peetha and Choreographer Sandesh Janvi of Mangalore Excellent Dance Academy. Other sculptors who have shaped Jnana’s dancing proves are Kathak exponents Prathama Prasad and Sweekrith, Odissey teacher Geethanjali, Master Shashank and music expert Vidhushi Saroja Mohandas. By raising the bar of on her own excellence from time to time, Jnana has set a record of her own with more than 500 programme in Classical and other forms of dance, proving her versatility. Like a diamond that is artistically cut to dazzle, Jnana Aithal has steadily progressed to shine at the national level and it is time we rose to the occasion and ensured the place of the victor for this little champ.
Today, as Jnana is going to set her foot on dance floor of Zee TV Dance India Dance Little Master segment, all eyes will be focussed on her performance. It’s a great moment of pride both for her parents, relatives, numerous friends so also to a million well wishers from Karnataka and beyond who wish and pray towards her success and ability to reach to the finals.
