Anita Dongre Goes Crowdsourcing Way to find Designer

New Delhi, May 2 (IANS): Fashion designer Anita Dongre is hunting for an accessory designer for her company AND Designs India Ltd and is taking the crowdsourcing way to discover the best talent.

Dongre decided to use the power of online media and has tied up with Talenthouse India, a crowdsourcing platform for the hunt.

"The internet has revolutionised the way many businesses and industries are operated. This initiative sets a new standard how fashion design houses like AND Designs India Ltd will hunt for and collaborate with great aspiring talent," Dongre said in a press statement.

"I'm really excited and looking forward to building a creative technically qualified accessory design team to create international quality eco-friendly accessory lines with a strong Indian design element," said Dongre.

The chosen designer will get an opportunity to work with her designing team at AND Designs India Ltd.

"Crowdsourcing has become the latest buzzword across the globe with mentors and brands across all industries using it to not only hunt for talent but also to engage with their audiences," said Arun Mehra, CEO, Talenthouse.

"This collaboration puts Anita Dongre in the league of international names like D&G, Nine West, etc who undertook similar initiatives to mentor talent with us," he added.
