Bangalore: Stealing for Luxurious Life - It's a Family Business !

Daijiworld Media Network - Bangalore

Bangalore, Jun 20: Thefts and robberies have become an everyday occurence everywhere in the state, but there's no beating Bangalore. The city has truly become the 'capital' of such criminal activities, with Bangalore police recently coming across cases of even young boys and girls choosing theft as their 'career' paths in a bid to afford a posh life.

In another such shocker of an incident, an entire family - mother, father, their two sons and two friends - has been caught running a theft racket for the past 18 months. On Monday June 18, Bangalore police arrested all the six, and recovered one kg of gold and a whopping Rs 40 lac in cash!

Shockingly enough, the 'family business' is led by a 38-year-old woman and mother of two sons Najjunisa. Her husband Anwar (49), sons Imran (24), Irfan (22) are 'operation directors' of the thefts. Two of their friends - Imran Adi (22) and Mudhabir (22) are also a part of it. Intestingly, Imran and Mudhabir are wanted in many other cases, and warrants have been issued against them more than 15 times!

The entire team was once caught for a petty theft back in 2010 at D J Halli. After serving the prison sentence they shifted their base to Kaggalipura.

Mother Najjunisa guides her sons, husband and other two boys to steal chains from women who go on morning walk, or near shopping centres and other crowded places.

With this kind of easy money, the family owns two cars, and a site at Kaggalipura where Rs 70-lac house is under construction! What a booming family business!

The family had chosen Bangalore's K R Puram, Banasawadi, and surrounding places to run their 'business'. So far, this family has been involved in more than 40 cases of theft. The stolen gold ornaments were sold in Kolar and Tamil Nadu.

Subramanyapura police had spent sleepless nights when theft cases increased in their vicinity of late. First they caught Imran Adi and Mudhabir, but Mudhabir managed to escape from police. But Imran confessed to the crime, and through a bike recovered from him (KA 05 8585), the police team managed to reach this 'chor' family.

However, the family had fled from the state, and had managed to reach Nagpur. On Tuesday, two teams of Subramanayapura police led by inspector Balegowda caught the accused in Nagpur and brought them to the city.

Needless to add, the incident of such a family business has shocked all and sundry, including south zone DCP Sonia Narang.

when 80 to 800 crores are looted stolen) from tax payers money, what is the big deal about this "Chori".
Why such a hue and cry from the readers? Chop hands, donot release them fm prision even after their prison term is over etc etc.
Same is not said of those ministers/govt. servants who stole so much - not even a proper case made against them and always out on bail without even going near jail door.
Compare these two - and have compassion for the lesser chor who cannot get any bail at all!!!!!

Stealing to lead a Luxurious life. When we talk and think of stealing, we have to agree that there are many ways of stealing 1. Clean Robbery, 2. Encroaching of Private or Public Land, 3. White Collar Crimes, 4. Stealing of Tax money, 5. Stealing a college seat or jobs through fake certificate and so on. If you name it there are so many to talk of. REcently a meeting was held in Maharashtra by NCP Leaders which was reported by NDTV which said that nearly 60% of the people who visited the meeting came in High Ends cars like BMW, Audit, Mercs etc etc. Do we think these vehicles were purchased through hard earned money - No Way - It is through stealing. Two days Back 3 indians were sentenced in all to 35 years in Prison for stealing VAT money collected and it was used to buy High end cars and to build a million pound house. Can we have the same law in India and if that happens so many politicians and business people will be behind bars. The growth and development that is talking place in India leads to a lot of fear and concern. Though india is only 40% developed and there are so many murders, rapers and robbers mark my words if the growth increases what will be the state of affairs and where our country is leading to. Time to sit back and think thoroughly is a necessity

Shahnawaz, Sharia law isint the solution. Even Saudi Arabia which follows strict islamic Sharia, the crime rate isn't reducing. There is an average of 35 excecutions over the last 10 years. People are willing to take the risk for greed, poverty, hunger and once they get successful, it becomes a habit, till they are caught. Till humanity exists, there will be chor police......

What a surprise and interesting story of this family. All are graduated in theft course, good education and good mind of living. If the police force are active, these member of the family would have not gone to the such extension. So in-active our police department because of these police people only , this sort of people taking the advantage. I feel to appreciate to the Police Department but no use, I think there is involvement of the big short's along with this group. Better to go deep into it and find a details n solution. Why don't our government not taking the good step to provide our Young generation Security jobs ? Who are job less or looking for jobs , even there is lot of unemployment in India. They can provide good training, and reduce the crime by providing security job's. When I was small, there is lot of " Gurkha " roaming around the city (Guarding) even they caught me some time, while I was way to home late nights, by asking many question. Now a day's, I don't see them or like that. So like this there is possibilities to reduce the crime. But one thing, specially " corruption n Cheating " if stop's in Karnataka " Every thing is possible and sure the crime will reduce. Main motto should be, get together like one union and work for betterment of the people. Hope this profession will not spread in Karnataka / India OR chosen by the young children in future " NO WISDOM "

Since the chor family belongs to muslim community and professional robbers and thieves, I request the authorities to apply the strict shariah law and chop their hands below the wrist as its the punishment given to professional thieves... then no one is dare to steal... lets try.. once and see the end results.... positive..
