Alwyn, being in Canada, your comments were not surprising.

In KSA we dont slog for the Arabs, we slog for ourselves, in fact majority of the arabs work under the Indians and other nationalities.

Just compare the status of the people migrating to Canada and people going to the middle east.

People migrating to Canada have to be qualified professionals or should have sufficient financial back up. How much you earn there, is besides the point.

Majority of the people going to the Gulf, go empty handed, and some with empty heads, but return with pockets full, so it doesnt matter whether you slog for the arabs or not.

I do agree sharing knowledge is good. But share knowledge from the master, not from tom, dick and harry. Have a look at the magnificiant, technologically advanced constructions in the gulf.

Ksa is building the tallest tower in the world. More than a KM high. That is the technology we need to study or learn, not tile fixing, and plumbing, which is a labour job, done as per the instructions of the manufacturers.

Joe D'souza your comments appreciated. Thank you,

I understand the patriotic aspects of the comments below. But the fact remains is that we in India in general and in Mangalore particular,we lack infrastructure very badly. Many comments on this site telated to the need for good roads and tourism development are clear indicators that we agree. China did not have any such jingoistic position against any foreign involvement in their development, the reason why they are now several decades ahead of India.

N.Frank.your comments are meaningful. Mangaloreans have been building beautiful structures since centuries. Besides having technical knowledge on building trade,Indian realtors are good in gobbling land illegally by manipulation. May be Aussies can Land sharks on how to grab land forcefully,as they did it with Natives in Australia. Next may be British!!!

N.FRANK, India/KSA ego is the biggest issue for Indian wherever they go. Bow to white skin is your person and ego issue will keep in KSA life long to slog for Arabs. Sharing knowledge is a great skill and one learn from that. People like you will always sing same song and stay in KSA lifelong. Friend share knowledge and grow in life which is song of life and please do it. 'NOT REQUIRED TO BOW OTHER THAN GOD AND OUR LORD"

At one time Australian dairy products and australian mutton was famous, but not anymore.

It is very surprising to note that Australians want to teach mangaloreans about tile laying, plumbing and electricals, What a joke.

Indian masons, plumbers and electricians are one of the best in the world. Mangaloreans are part of that group. It would have been good if the D'souzas were to tell Mr. Carter that CREDAI Mangalore would send a technical team to Australia to train the australins in these fields.

It is better to have glance at the Austalian economy first, before considering the trade pacts and trade partnerships.

How long are we going to bow our heads to the white skins.???
