Yes great work. In this state of karnataka where all other languages are sidelined by our govt, we Konkanas must keep up our spirits. Its our language. just as kannadigas demand education in their mother tongue we too must demand education in our mother tongue

    A 'Literary Chariot'
    Can 'Run Riot'
Or Get stuck in a 'Rut'
    But for a Perfect 'Charioteer'
    Who can steer it 'Clear'
    Without 'Fear' or 'Favour'....

No doubt, all efforts are to be made to bring Konkani at the forefront and to its justified place should be restored. But without a uniform/common script/lipi, it will be a futile excercise. We have been talking of this issue since many many years. people had sammelanas, locally, national, international, but the result is zero. i.e. back to basics. we are not united for monther tongue, but we are united to serve individual group's interest. We have Kannada, Roman, Malayalam, Urdu and Devnagari scripts. Indian constitution has upheld this language as one of the national language. Is there anybody take this up and cross over the border and script?. No, one. it needs personal sacrifice from the people who are engaged in upholding this language. We need such people to make Konkani as one language where we can be proud to be and read and write in a single sript. then the result is stronger though it will be slower.
