Lauderhill, Florida, Jul 1 : Hello and welcome to the 2nd T20I between West Indies and New Zealand. In yesterday's match the Kiwis were outplayed in all the departments. Gayle force came to the party yesterday and he was well supported by Pollard, who was looking in a smashing form. There are injury worries for the Kiwis as their skipper Taylor is ruled out of this series due to an injury and there are concerns over the fitness of Oram and Hira.

West Indies have won the toss and elected to bat

Team News: Kane Williamson will be leading New Zealand in place of the injured Ross Taylor. R Hira is out due to an injury and so is burly all-rounder Jacob Oram.

Kieron Pollard is not playing. He was reported to have a shoulder injury and has been rested.

Kane Williamson: I have had a little bit of practice leading the side in county cricket and domestic cricket. Flynn, Elis and Mills are in. We were a bit rusty yesterday. We are looking to correct it today.

Darren Sammy: We will look to put another professional performance. Pollard's exclusion is more of a precaution. That is the only change. We are having a whole new approach to the game, trying to enjoy it. We are known to be late starters, but we have started well this time

Teams:

New Zealand (Playing XI): Kane Williamson(c), Rob Nicol, Martin Guptill, Daniel Flynn, Dean Brownlie, Tom Latham(w), Andrew Ellis, Nathan McCullum, Kyle Mills, Doug Bracewell, Tim Southee

West Indies (Playing XI): Darren Sammy(c), Dwayne Bravo, Chris Gayle, Dwayne Smith, Johnson Charles, Marlon Samuels, Lendl Simmons, Denesh Ramdin(w), Fidel Edwards, Sunil Narine, Samuel Badree
