Hyderabad, Jul 8 (IANS): Former national chief badminton coach Syed Mohammed Arif believes India's top shuttler Saina Nehwal will win a medal at the London Olympics.
"I firmly believe that the way she is playing she should be getting a medal for the country this time. What medal depends on the particular day, how she is moving and how she is playing," Arif told IANS.
The coach of women's doubles pair of Jwala Gutta and Ashwini Ponnappa feels Saina should be mentally high as she has defeated all top ranking players at one time or the other except Wang Yihan of China.
Saina, the current number five in the world, won the Indonesian Super Series and Thailand Open last month. She will be leading India's challenge in the badminton at the Olympics.
