Nasik, Jul 10: In a tragic incident, 20-year-old Ujire SDM College student Suraj Vasu Shetty, and Mumbai-based girl Dalvi died in a Tavera car - tempo accident near Ghoti Sinnar road, Nasik.
Along with Suraj and the girl, Suraj's father Vasu Shetty, mother Suneetha, sister Pratiskha, and Vasu Shetty's neighbour in Mumbai Gajanan Dalvi were heading toward Shirdi Sai temple from Mumbai.
The accident occured at around 5 am Monday July 9, when the car tried to overtake a bus and hit a tempo that was coming from the opposite direction.
Both Shetty and Dalvi families were staying in the same neighbourhood of Ghatkopar in Mumbai.
Vasu Shetty is working as a manager in a bar and restaurant in Mumbai.
Suraj's mother Suneetha Shetty and his sister Pratiksha are said to be seriously injured, and have been admitted to a hospital in Dombivli.
Suraj joined his parents in Mumbai a few days ago on vacation.
