Mangalore, Jul 12: A speeding tanker plying from Aurangabad (Maharashtra) to Kannur (Kerala) rolled over and fell into a gorge on national highway 66 at Adamu Kudru, near Netravati Bridge, Ullal near here on Thursday July 12.

The accident took place at around 2 am. Luckily, the driver escaped with minor injuries.

The 10-wheel tanker ‘Shri Taghavendra Transport’ (TN 30 AD 7185) transporting spirit, skidded when the driver lost control while making space for a lorry and fell off the muddy road into the gorge.

A loss of Rs 12,000 was reported in the accident.

A case has been registered in the Ullal police station. Fire brigade personnel rushed to the spot.

    To repair a sedan of some minor dents will cost Rs. 10,000/- How come a 10 wheeler truck fallen in gorge the estimated loss is just Rs. 12,000/-
