Udupi, Jul 15: South Kanara Photographers’ Association (SKPA) celebrated near city bus stand on Satuirday July 14 to mark the allotment of ministerial berth to Kota Srinivas Poojary, MLC.
After the sudden demise of Dr V S Acharya, there was no in-charge minister for the twin districts and now Poojary has filled this spot.
SKPA members celebrated Vijayotsava by shouting slogans and bursting crackers.
Vasudev Rao, SKPA president, Janardhan Kodavuru, Jayakar Suvarna, vice-president, Sridar Shettigar (president of SKPA for Udupi), Praveen Kurkal (president of SKPA for Kaup), and Chandrashekar (president of SKPA for Brahmavar), were present.
