Bantwal: Dr M Dejappa Dallody’s Research Book Released

Bantwal, Jul 16:
“Researcher Dr M Dejappa Dallody has proved that an individual with rural upbringing embodied with grit, gentlemanly qualities, and struggles can achieve,” said Dr M Mohan Alva, chairman, Alva’s Education Foundation , Moodbidri.
 
Dr Alva was speaking at the felicitation of Dr Dallody, the author of research book on Billava cultural splendour held at SJSRY auditorium, B C Road, on Sunday July 15.  It was organized by Dr M Dejappa Dallody Felicitation Committee.


“Dr Dallody has authored his book without prejudice by highlighting the vivacity of language and community,” added Dr Alva.
 
ZP former president B Sadanand Poonja, after felicitating Dr Dallody, said that felicitation of achievers will inspire them to explore their faculties further.  “Humanity is highlighted in Dr Dallody’s book by shunning the indifference in colour and creed,” he said.
 
Bar Council former vice-president T Narayan Poojary presided over the programme.
 
Former MLA Rukmaya Poojary and Konkani Sahitya Academy member Professor A Giri Bhat were present on the dais.
 
Dr Dallody Felicitation Committee vice-president B Tammayya welcomed the gathering.  President Yerya Laxminarayan Alva delivered the introductory address.  Professor Tukaram Poojary proposed the vote of thanks. 

Mahabaleshwar Hebbar compered the programme.
