Mangalore, Aug 31: FMMC will organize International Dermatopathology conference from August 31 to September 2 said, Dr Ramesh Bhat M from the Dermatology department here at the press club on Thursday August 30.
The conference will be organized by the departments of Dermatology, Venereology, Leprosy and Pathology, FMMC in collaboration with Dermatopathology Society of India (DSI), Special Interest Group Dermatopathology IADVL and by International Society of Dermatopathology at the Decennial memorial hall.
Addressing the media persons, Dr Bhat said that the inauguration of the conference will be held at 10 am on September 1 and Dr NS Chennapa Gowda, IAS, deputy commissioner of Dakshina Kannada will be the chief guest.
Bhat said the conference will be addressed by International experts like Dr Eduardo Calonje, London and Dr Sara Edwards from Leeds. Around 400 national and international delegates are expected to participate, he added.
The department of Dermatology, in association with Karavali Dermatology society is also organizing the Dr JN Shetty Memorial oration lecture by DR C R Srinivas.
Dr Jacintha Martis from the department of Dermatology and Dr Muktha R Pai, HOD of Pathology department were present at the meet.
