Kasargod, Sept 1: A youth died under mysterious circumstances after he went to Goa on a picnic with his friend, here, on Friday August 31.
The deceased is identified as TA Nisar Aboobakkar (24), resident of Deli in Kasargod.
It is learnt that the deceased had left to Goa with his friend two days back. They were residing at a home stay in Canacona.
As per the information received, Nisar was found dead on Friday morning. His friend is said to be absconding.
Police with the help of the details obtained contacted his family who are on their way to Goa.
The body is kept at Goa medical college for examination.
