Udupi: 22-year-old Nursing Student Dies in Road Accident

Udupi, Sep 5: In a tragic incident, Sathish Prabhu (22), KMC nursing student died in a road accident near Prakala, Devi Nagar, here on Wednesday September 5.

The accident occurred at around 9 am when Satish was on his way to KMC, Manipal to attend the Teachers Day programme. It is learnt that Satish was travelling along the bypass road and accidently entered the main road and hit the KSRTC bus which was on its way from Kundapur to Bangalore after which he lost control and fell off the scooter. Satish suffered major head injuries and died on the spot.

It is learnt that Sathish had purchased the Suzuki Access scooter just a day before the accident.

Satish’s parents residing in Mumbai immediately rushed to Udupi after they came to know about their son’s accident. He was the only son of his parents.

    may his soul rest in peace... he ws a very good boy.very ffunny n loving guy.. i was wid him till yesterday night in ward together.. i ws so shocked.. i never believed this.. i thought people r joking.. death comes like thief....anyday anytime....so sad... i jus cant believe.
