Mangalore: Teachers' Day Celebrated in Full Fervour at St Theresa’s School

Mangalore, Sep 6: The parent-teacher association (PTA) of St Theresa's School, Bendur, under the aegis of the vice-president Claudette Fernandes, held a small function to honor the teachers, staff and administrative members of the school on the occasion of teacher’s day.

Also present, were Sr Rose Celine, correspondent, Sr Shubha, superior of the Bethany Convent, Bendur and Sr Premitha, principal of the school.

In keeping up with the Hawaiian theme, the teachers were greeted by the PTA members with colorful Lei's.

The function began with a prayer followed by a spectacular welcome dance "Hats off to you Teachers" performed by the PTA.

There was entertainment in the form of games, and the grand finale was a fusion dance competition between the teachers.

This was followed by a lunch for all.
