Mangalore: Lourdite Family Celebrate Nativity Feast

Mangalore, Sep 7: With sentiments of love and respect, the Lourdite family celebrated the feast of Nativity of Mother Mary, here on Thursday September 7. On the eve of the feast, the Christian students started off with the Eucharistic celebration at Bejai Church.

It was followed by a short and meaningful progamme at LCS grounds. The anchorer Janice of class V C kept the whole of LCS family knitted together with her beautiful words.

Dr Victor Machado, manager LCS delivered brief festal message.  Lourdites from KG 1 to class 9 walked devotedly towards Maria Bambina to offer floral tribute followed by class 10, 11 and 12 who showered flowers and greeted Mother Mary on her birthday.

The choir of LCS sang melodiously at the beautiful composition of Ivan and Joel. Little Lourdite Suhena Darshan of class 1B delivered the vote of thanks.

The work of in-charge teachers was well appreciated by the principal of LCS, Fr Ferdinand Gonsalves.

The festive celebration concluded with the distribution of sweets to the children.
