Udupi: Paryaya Shree Offers Special Puja to Shree Vedavyasa

Udupi, Sep 9: According to the traditions of Shree Sode Vadhiraja Mutt, special prayers were offered to Bagawan Shri Vedavasya, to mark the feast of Shree Krishna Janmastami here in the temple on Saturday, September 9.

‘Agryapradhana’, a special puja was performed by Shree Vishwa Vallabha Thirtha Swamiji of Shree Sode Vadhiraj Mutt, Udupi.

Shree Vishwa Vallabha Thirtha Swamiji ascended the sacred ‘Paryaya Peeta’ (Sarvajna Peeta) on January 18, taking charge and ‘Puja’ rights at Sri Krishna Mutt for the two years from the outgoing seer Sri Laxmivaratheertha Swamiji of Shree Shiroor Mutt.

On the occasion Shree Krishna Vesha Sparde, Huli Vesha and various other cultural competitions were organized to mark the festival season.
