Udupi: Reckless Bus Driver Injures Biker, Child

Udupi, Sep 10: An early morning mishap led to the injury of two people including a child at 8.30 am near Nellikatte, Moodubelle on September 10.

A bus (Sree Sathyanath, Jai Ganesh) collided with a bike, ridden by Girish Acharya (27) who was along with his nephew Savan (5). It is said that the bus was driving on the wrong side of the road.

Girish was on his way to drop his nephew to Anganvadi when the negligent and careless driving of bus driver Vishwanath Acharya caused the accident. The driver immediately escaped from the scene.

The injured have been admitted to KMC hospital.

While an FIR is yet to be filed, police are enquiring into the accident.
