Kundapur: One Injured as Bus Hits Cycle

Kundapur, Sep 11: A cycle rider was hurt and admitted to hospital, as he was hit by a tourist bus from behind; leaving the cycle shambled, on the NH 66 near Kundapur.


Cycle rider Prathap was on his way towards Kundapur from Koteshwar, as he approached in front of Mithun Complex near Gandhi Maidan, Kundapur, he was hit from the back by a Chikmagalur registered, “Ambalika” named bus, that is said to be owned by person from Kalmadi, Malpe.


The injured is said to be recovering in Chinmaya Hospital, Kundapur, as he was thrown of the cycle and hurt his head, hands and leg severely due to the impact of the accident. The cycle has been completely damaged as the front wheel of the bus moved over the cycle.
