Mangalore: MCC Health Officer Santosh Dies of Accident Injuries

Mangalore, Sep 11: Mangalore City Corporation (MCC) health officer Santosh, who had played an active part in the series of raids conducted throughout the city recently, passed away on Monday September 10 night after battling for life for a day.

Santosh, who was only 40, had met with a grave accident on Sunday September 9 near Derebail. His bike rammed into a divider causing him severe injuries on the head.

A critically injured Santosh was admitted to KMC and he battled for life in the ICU. He passed away on Monday at 9.15 pm.

A resident of Derebail, Santosh is survived by his wife and two sons studying in 7th and 5th standards.

The body was brought to MCC office at around 12.30 pm on Tuesday September 11.
