Justice Murugesan is Delhi High Court Chief Justice


New Delhi, Sep 26 (IANS): Justice Darmar Murugesan was Wednesday sworn in as the chief justice of the Delhi High Court by Lt. Gov. Tejendra Khanna.

Justice Murugesan was a judge of the Madras High Court and has recently been elevated and transferred to Delhi. Acting Chief Justice A.K. Sikri has been elevated as chief justice of the Punjab and Haryana High Court.

He was administered the oath of office at 10 a.m. at the Raj Niwas, the official residence of the lt governor. The function was attended by Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit and other judges of the Delhi High Court.

Justice Murugesan was born on June 10, 1951 and was appointed as a judge of the Madras High Court on March 2, 2000.

    Sir, With due respect i informed that my date is in Dwarka Court ,But the Lawyers are not allowed to go inside the court preises. its really shocking and clearly violation of fundamental right of citizen.Since 01.03.2013 till today 11.03.2013. Lawyears are not allowed to go in court premises even in court room.
    please take appropriate step for public
