Eco green campaign against use of Plastic Bags is a good move in a positive way. However we have to look ahead with various options to find alternatives (OXO Biodegradable) polyethylene bags which are eco friendly. This type of conferences and discussion amongst individuals should be aligned at an international level by attending conferences, where one an develop concepts to develop industries at renowned institutions like Manipal Institute of Technology. Currently few retail stores within Karnataka, have stopped issuance of plastic carry bags, this envisages to stop or freeze utilization of bags with end users. Hope this conference hosted at Mangalore provides a vision not to use plastic products anymore. Let us all put our thought in a think tank and support to utilize products which are environmental friendly.
