Mumbai: Srinivas Jokatte’s ‘Maovovadhigala Hindhu Rastra Nepala’ released

Mumbai, Jan 31: ‘Maovovadhigala Hindhu Rastra Nepala’, the 18th book by renowned litterateur and journalist Srinivas Jokatte was recently released in Karnataka Association’s Barkooru Rukmuni Shetty Mini convention hall at Gorgon West.

Megina Malady Subbayya T Poonja was the chief guest. Payooru Ramesh K Shetty president of Gorgon Karnataka Association presided over the function.

Payooru Ramesh K Shetty expressed his happiness over the release of the book and said that it consists of the association’s annual tour experiences. Importance of tour can be learnt, and it can also be a travel guide for the travelers, he added.

Subbayya T Poonja also spoke on the occasion.

The book was published by Shrinivas Pustaka Prakashana Bangalore. Former president Mundkooru Surendra Salian gave a brief introduction of the book.

Jokatte also informed that he travelled two times to Nepal and more than 25 related articles about his travelling experiences are published in the book.

Balakrishna Nidwannya, SN Udupa, SK Sundara, Anitha Poojary, Omdas Kanaghar, Ashok Sasithlu, Petri Vishwanath R Shetty, Premnath Suvarna, PV Ithal, Shakunthala R Prabhu, Jayalakshmi Shrinivas were present on the occasion.

Sumitra Gujaran led the prayer song. Vice president Lakshmi Shetty welcomed. Vasanthi Kotekkar introduced the guests. Honorary secretary Vedha Suvarna compered. Vidhya Deshpande delivered the vote of thanks.
