Miami, Mar 1 (IANS/EFE): Mexican singer Thalia will go on a short US tour this spring on which she will perform songs from her most recent album, "Habitame siempre", her record label, Sony Music, announced.
The "Viva!" tour will begin March 24 in Chicago and will consist of a series of intimate concerts where she will perform her new songs and the big hits of her more than 20-year career, including "Equivocada", "Amor a la mexicana", "Entre el mar y una estrella" and "Arrasando", among others.
In addition to going onstage at Chicago's Vic Theatre, Thalia will make stops at The Wiltern in Los Angeles March 28, Houston's Arana Theatre March 30 and at the Best Buy Theater in New York April 3.
This tour by Thalia, who has sold more than 40 million albums and has participated in soap operas such as "Rosalinda" and "Quinceanera", will continue April 26 at Mexico City's National Auditorium and then proceed through other Latin American countries.
"Habitame siempre", released in November 2012, has gone triple platinum in Mexico and gold in the US.
