Future india(Defence Group), Mangalore: I agree with you that there should be two way roads. But you go round the city roads and specially two way roads having road dividers. Many a times, the two wheelers and Autos enter from the wrong side rather than taking U Turn from the right direction and create lot of risk not only to their own lives but that of the genuine two way road users. And this is specially true in the evening and night hours. Everybody seems to be in hurry to reach the destination. This is nothing but A SHORT CUT to LIFE and this results in SHORT CUT TO THEIR OWN LIVES AND THAT OF OTHERS. And the blame starts on others specially the heavy vehicles and genuine road users even though the fault lies with the wrong doer. Do you agree?

The main reson for Accidents in India is using of one way road. Every Road should be two way. so we can prevent 90% of accidents there will no chance of two wheeler accidents.

Sad incident, may the departed souls rest in peace. There should a particular speed limit for this lorry/trucks and heavy vehicles on highways... so that there will be less chances for the accidents..

Mr. Henry Misquith, Bahrain: Highways are Higways and they are not Village Roads. Highways are meant for fast driving and there can not be speed limit or speed breakers on on the Highways. Do you have speed limit and speed breakers in Bahrain inspite of lot of accidents on highways. I lived in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia for five years and seen lot of accidents on highways but there were no speed breakers or speed limits. Only the city Roads had speed breakers and speed limits in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, where I lived for five years.
Finally it is the defensive driving techniques needed whether on highways or city limits that will avoid accidents and save lives.
