Chennai: Height of audacity - Thief gets away with judge's laptop, cell phone!

Chennai, Apr 10: Since ages, thieves have always been portrayed as running away from justice system. Stories since times immemorial have depicted interesting instances about thieves who are always on the run before the long arm of law catches up with them. But times seem to have changed, at least in the case of the following incident, which occurred a few kms away from the metro.

No one knows whether the thief concerned was in too much urgency to make money or he had scores to settle against the judge in question. The audacious thief took away the private laptop and the cell phone of a judge in Ponneri, about 35 kms away from here on Tuesday April 9. Knowingly or unknowingly, the thief, who intruded into the room of the judge unnoticed, has created embarrassment for the police and the court administration.

It is learnt that additional sessions judge, Nakkeeran, was hearing a case in the court complex at Ponneri, which falls in Tiruvallur district, Tamil Nadu. His laptop and mobile phone were left behind in his room, which is located adjacent to the court hall. After attending to his duties, he returned to his room, and found to his dismay, that his laptop and mobile phone had gone missing. He sounded the police about the incident.

Although the police launched a search operation, they have not yet succeeded in catching hold of the thief. They strongly suspect that the thief was in the garb of an advocate. A case in this connection was registered by the police of Ponneri station.

The fact the seat of justice, which is expected to provide justice to the aggrieved, has itself become aggrieved in the case, has larger ramifications in the form of loss of faith in the police’s capacity to act against thefts in the court in spite of having a formidable presence there.

At last it is proved - Law is blind, but Lawyer is half blind, and the thief in Lawyers attire is not at all blind.

Mr. thief, even if you steal the information from that computer and cell phone, and give it to any other person in the judicial system to catch other bigger thieves than yourself, still you are giving those information to a bigger thief than in the computer. Beware.!!!

Only when such things happen to them, their eyes will open as to the inactivity \ lethargy of the police. Most of the Police are either under the influence of politicians or some goondas and such guys. The first - fear of losing prime Police station posting - second loss of side income and some kind of protection from the goons!!!!! (funny - right)
Same way moral police goondas should beat up ministers wives\aons \daughters then they will take action against the goondas of moral policing in DK.

Thieves were so far running Away from Justice System. But this time the Thief ran away with the Judge's System itself. Lap-top may be having many Judgments readied by the Judge for pronouncing shortly in the Court. That Thief in Lawyer's coat was afraid that his case will be adverse. So, he stole the judgement itself.
Judge's Cell Phone also may be having the numbers of such Lawyers who usually act as a middle-men between the Judges and the clients to pass on the bribe amount from client to Judge. So, it is more explosive than the Lap-top.

Good lesson! This judge might have punished many innocent lives while letting off many criminals. Why there's court.. lawyers.. judges etc.. in India where law doesnt exist anymore???? The apex court gives final judgement in some cases and the very same court stays the punishment.. Isnt it funny??

The Nature has his own way of Balancing things. With gap betwean rich and poor exclavating, theft or robbery will only increase on future. By the way , apart from usual definition of theft , even not paying taxes or salary one deserves , hoarding valuables like Gold ( dead commodity ) are also on other sides as it snatches away ones right to exist.
