New Delhi, July 29 (IANS): The Delhi government Monday gave its nod to a state-of-the-art 200-bed hospital in the national capital that would be built at a cost of Rs.149 crore.

The decision was taken at a cabinet meeting chaired by Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit.

The hospital, which would come up in south Delhi's Ambedkar Nagar, will have 50 percent beds reserved for maternal and child healthcare, said an official of the Delhi government.

It will be built as per the Green Building Concept. The hospital would be constructed in two years.
