'Bottal khol' delays 'Prague' release

Mumbai, Jul 31 (IANS): Chandan Roy Sanyal starrer "Prague" will not come out on its scheduled release date of Aug 2 as the censor board has raised objection on the song "Bottal khol".

"Bottal Khol" composed by Tony Kakkar and sung by Neha Kakkar and Tony Kakkar got held up at the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), resulting in delay of the film's release.

"Censor found the song double meaning. We respect their opinion. We have submitted it to a review committee and we are hopeful the reviewing committee will do justice," Rohit Khaitan, producer of "Prague", said in a statement.

"But this delay has certainly caused us loss of the release date and time. We are working on a fresh release date and will make it official asap," he added.

Made under the Glamour Struck Productions Pvt. Ltd, "Prague" is directed by Ashish R. Shukla and also stars Elena Kazan, Arfi Lamba, Mayank Kumar and Sonia Bindra.
