Congratulations to Honourable Mr. Sorake on the achievement of the Government. I am happy to know that Udupi district will be converted into a heritage district. Udupi was part of Dakshina Kannada District. At that time we had Uttara Kannada District. Now there is no link between DK &UK District. There is need to rechristen these two district into Mangalore and Karwar Districts. It will sound nice and also recognise the apirations of the people.I am confident that Honourable Minister will bestow his attention to this important project.

The National flag exhibited by the children has a wheel with fifteen spokes where as there should have been twenty four. The design of the wheel is different. One cannot change the design of the nationaln flag.

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY TO ALL OF YOU.
Today we are celebrating 67th Independence day.We are spending crores of Rs.for the elebration. But
in this 67 years just think what
we have achieved.Still India is a
    poor country.Problems like Poverty,
    unemployment,corruption,Communal
    Riots,Threat from Neighbouring
    country still exists.Basic needs
    like Food,Clothing,Shelter is a
    dream for poor people.Why Govt.is
not implimenting compulsory education.Basic infrastructure like
    Roads,Electricity,Health centre &
    proper sanitation fecility & pure
drinking water is a distant dream
for the villagers. To solve all these problems there should be a
    able leadership in the centre.
Then only these problem can be
    solved.
