Mumbai: Virtual classrooms inaugurated at University of Mumbai

Mumbai, Aug 19: The Governor of Maharashtra K Sankaranarayanan, inaugurated the Harvard style ‘Multipurpose Virtual Classroom’ of the University of Mumbai at the University’s Kalina Campus in Mumbai. 

Minister of State for Higher and Technical Education D P Sawant said that the project of virtual classroom was worth replicating in all universities in the State.

Vice Chancellor of the University Dr Rajan Welukar, pro vice chancellor Dr Naresh Chandra, vice chancellor of SNDT Women’s University professor Vasudha Kamat, director of Board of College and University Development Dr Rajpal Hande, former Vice Chancellor of University of Mumbai Dr Snehalata Deshmukh and captains of industry were present on the occasion.
