Mangalore, Feb 14: An incident of a Tamilian being brutally murdered at Ullal near here, was reported on Tuesday February 14. The motive for the murder and the identity of the killers is yet to be established.
The deceased has been identified as Meghraj (40), hailing from Tamil Nadu. He was a barber by profession.
The body was found in an old building on the Ullal beach road. The initials reports said that he was strangled to death and then the assailants had slit his chest with a knife. Though nobody is aware why he was so brutally killed, on analyzing delicately, the murder seems to be the result of revenge.
Though it is learnt that Meghraj hailed from the state of Tamil Nadu, his town or address is still not known.
Meghraj was earning a living as a barber in the city and surrounding areas. The Ullal police are trying to get details from Meghraj’s wife, who has arrived at the spot.
Meghraj’s clothes and belongings were found at the place of the murder itself.
The Ullal police have registered a case in this regard.
