I blindly believed in Mysskin: Sri

Chennai, Sep 29 (IANS): Actor Sri has been appreciated for his raw performance in crime-thriller "Onayum Aatukuttiyum". He says his director Mysskin needs to be credited for his performance as he blindly followed his instructions.

"Onayum Aatukuttiyum", a story that unravels the chase for a wanted criminal, released Friday to critical acclaim.

"I'm happy that everybody has good things to say about my performance, but I think my director deserves all the credit. I just blindly did what he asked me to do."

"He is a perfectionist and wouldn't get easily satisfied. It definitely was a challenging film, but worth it," Sri, who made his cinematic debut with National Award-winning Tamil drama "Vazhakku En 18/9", told IANS.

He says it's good to follow the director's footsteps as an aspiring actor.

"I have just started my career and hence I look up to my directors for suggestions. I think it's healthy to take every advice of your director seriously because you might not know when it will come in handy in your career again," he added.

Sri has been offered new scripts and is expected to sign a project soon.
