Nithiin repeats Pawan Kalyan sentiment in 'Courier...'

Chennai, Sep 29 (IANS): Actor Nithiin Reddy, an ardent fan of actor Pawan Kalyan, is repeating the sentiment associated with PK in his upcoming Telugu romantic-drama "Courier Boy Kalyan". He says the reference is merely a coincidence, but adds that it might work in his favour.

Nithiin's character in "Courier Boy Kalyan" is called PK ('Panileni' Kalyan).

"It's merely a coincidence, but since my last two films also had references to Pawan Kalyan and turned out to be successful, I'm hoping that it might work again in 'Courier...'. He (Pawan) has been my lucky mascot, and therefore, it's like repeating the sentiment," Nithiin told IANS.

Nithiin's last two releases - "Ishq" and "Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde" - had references to Pawan. While the former had a scene dedicated to the superstar, the latter dedicated a song to him.

Directed by Premsai, "Courier..." also features Yami Gautam in the lead.

"Nithya Menen was supposed to be paired opposite me in the film, but she was extremely busy. Yami was eventually signed on. It was fun working with her, a great co-actor and very dedicated," he added.

Nithya and Nithiin starred in two back-to-back Telugu blockbusters.

Produced by Gautham Vasudev Menon, "Courier..." is also being simultaneously made in Tamil titled "Tamilselvanum Thaniyaar Anjalum". It features Jai in the lead.
