I am excited about my thriller films: Dipannita Sharma

New Delhi, Sep 30 (IANS): Model-actress Dipannita Sharma, who will be seen in Bejoy Nambiar's Hindi remake of Tamil film "Pizza", is also shooting for another thriller but says both are different from each other.

“I am not allowed to talk about them (both the films). One of them is produced by Bejoy Nambiar. It’s a remake of South film (‘Pizza’) in Hindi. They called me and I liked the part. I’ve not seen the south film. They said they are making it their own way,” Dipannita told IANS.

The former Miss India contestant has also started shooting for a thriller helmed by a newcomer.

“I am shooting for one more film which also comes under thriller genre. Both parts are different from each other and I’ve never tried such roles before so I am excited. It’s directed by Faizan Karim. He’s done documentaries and has background from Los Angeles. He has been assistant director for shows like 'CSI: Miami',” she said.

Though her hands are full with the thriller genre, the actress who was seen in movies like “Jodi Breakers” and “Ladies vs Ricky Bahl” wants to explore more genres.

“As an actor I would like to explore different genres and subjects. The story should be true to the genre. If someone says it’s a comedy film, it should be truly comic,” said Dipannita who still enjoys walking the ramp.

“Fashion weeks I don’t do anymore because I am not comfortable with shows one after the other. But I like doing shows. If there’s something nice, I do it. I will walk for Abu Jani - Sandeep Khosla (fashion designers) on Oct 7,” she said.
